Catherine Kyle is a die-hard fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates, but she had never seen them play, even though she’s lived for her entire life near to the Pirates’ PNC Park home field. So Kyle’s family took her to the Pirates’ home game against the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday to celebrate her upcoming 99th birthday. “I was really surprised. They like to surprise me.” 16 of Kyle’s children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren went to the game with her.
