One woman was killed and a second taken to UPMC-Western Maryland, following a single-vehicle accident this morning on Westbound Interstate 68. The victim’s identity is being withheld, pending notification of next of kin. The crash occurred around 9:20 a.m. in the area of the 19-mile marker. The Maryland State Police Trooper Five helicopter was requested, but couldn’t respond, due to weather conditions.
