HAMPSHIRE MAN CHARGED WITH MAKING TERRORISTIC THREATS

Augusta resident Shawn Sieben is facing charges of making terroristic threats, after claiming he had COVID-19 during a traffic stop. Sieben got out of the car saying he had the virus, with the trooper telling him to get back into his car. Sieben made several attempts to close the distance between him and the trooper. He was later evaluated and was eventually cleared with no medical complications. Following a visit to the hospital, he was transported to the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail.
