COMMISSIONERS REOPEN BUSINESS ASSISTANCE FUND

The Allegany County Commissioners have reopened the COVID-19 small Business Assistance Fund. The fund, which was announced in March, has already provided over $109,000 in rapid funding for the most affected businesses. As is the case with the initial rounds of the grant, funding can be used by businesses to pay rent, mortgages or utility costs for business. The additional funding is being provided to the county, through the passage of the CARES Act.
