Look up in the sky about 10:15 a.m. this morning, and you’ll see a C-17 Globemaster III plane flying over the UPMC-Western Maryland facility. The 167th Airlift Wing is honoring frontline COVID-19 responders here, and also in Pennsylvania and West Virginia by conducting a flyover. Residents are asked to maintain social distancing guidelines during the event and should refrain from traveling to the hospitals and gathering in groups to view the flyover.
