GARRETT COUNTY OPENS VACATION RENTALS

Although Garrett County remains under a state of emergency because of the coronavirus pandemic, officials there have begun to reopen vacation rentals. Garrett County has reported six COVID-19 cases, but Governor Hogan’s first phase of Maryland’s Roadmap to Recovery went into effect Friday at 5 p.m. Gatherings of ten or more people are prohibited; restaurants and bars are still closed, and in-house and outside dining is being prohibited. Masks are still being required.
