STATE POLICE TO CONDUCT CHECKPOINT

The McHenry barrack of the Maryland State Police will conduct a sobriety checkpoint at an undisclosed location in Garrett County sometime between May 17th and the 23rd. The goal is to reduce the number of drunken and drugged drivers on Garrett County roadways, and to educate the public on the dangers of drunken driving. State Police will be assisted by the Maryland Natural Resources Police and the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration.
