Cumberland City Police arrested 26-year-old Jennifer Lynn Vanmeter on Sunday. She is charged with second-degree child abuse and assault. Ms. Vanmeter was released on $10,000 unsecured bond. And, Douglas Bryan Combs of Cumberland was arrested on charges of possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, reckless endangerment, and assault. He was later released on his own recognizance.
