SEVERAL ARRESTS MADE TO COMBAT VIOLENT CRIME

Maryland State Police arrested several suspects over the past week, in conjunction with allied agencies as part of the department’s effort to reduce violent crime across the state. Among the local arrests were James Jong Rhee of Cumberland, who had an open warrant for electronic harassment and harassment as a course of conduct. He was released on his own recognizance. And, last Friday, Frostburg resident Daniel Lee Kearchner was arrested on an open warrant for second-degree assault and animal cruelty. He was released on a $2500 unsecured bond.
