FREE COVID-19 TESTING FOR ALLEGANY COUNTY RESIDENTS

The Allegany County Health Department has announced two drive-thru COVID-19 testing clinics to be held at the Allegany County Fairgrounds. The clinics will be held on July 9th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, July 12th from 1 to 6 p.m. The tests are free and open to the public. Participants are asked to bring a driver’s license or other ID that shows your name, address and date of birth. Participants do not need an appointment, doctor’s order, or insurance card. Results can be expected in two to four days. Residents will be notified of positive test results, while those who test negative will not be contacted, but they can call the Health Department to confirm their negative results.
