UPMC-Western Maryland will reopen its Hunt Club Urgent Care facility today. The former Western Maryland Health System had operated the Hunt Club Urgent Care for 28 years but was forced to close the facility in late January, while it pursued a Certificate of Need, required by the state of West Virginia. The C.O.N. was grated in late April, but because of COVID-19, there had been a decline in urgent care visits. Since early July. Urgent care volumes have picked up to the point that the Hunt Club location will reopen. It will now be known as UPMC-Urgent Care.
