Governor Larry Hogan’s order, prohibiting the termination of residential services and late fees expired on September 1st. The city of Cumberland is providing notice to all water, sewer, and trash utility customers that the expiration of the order allows the city to resume collection of all overdue water and sewer accounts. All past due balances must be paid to avoid termination of service. Termination of service for non-payment will resume on November 16th.
