MORE NEW COVID CASES REPORTED; DRIVE UP TESTING FOR KIDS ANNOUNCED

The Allegany County Health Department has reported 13 new cases of COVID-19 since last week, with the majority of those cases involving individuals in their teens or 20’s. The latest cases include a child under the age of 10, three females and two males in their teens, two women and two men in their 20’s, a woman in her 40’s, and two men in their 50’s. None of the cases has required hospitalization. The Health Department is also announcing that Allegany County children, aged 18 and under, can now receive free, drive-up COVID-19 testing at the Allegany County Fairgrounds Multipurpose Building, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon. The testing is expected to be available through the fall.
