Maryland Deputy Transportation Secretary R. Earl Lewis met with Allegany County officials yesterday to discuss the FY 2021 through FY 2026 Consolidated Transportation Program, which details the Maryland Department of Transpiration’s six-year capital budget. Several projects were discussed, including the completion of the new Maryland Route 36 bridge in Mount Savage; the beginning of construction to replace the 92-year-old Kreigbaum Road bridge in Corriganville, and the ongoing deck replacement and rehabilitation work on the Crosstown Bridge over CSX in Cumberland.
