There’s new leadership in the Maryland State Senate. Senator Bryan Simonaire of Anne Arundel County has been elected Minority leader, and Senator Michael Hough as elected minority whip. Hough’s district includes parts of Frederick and Carroll Counties. Senate President Bill Ferguson, a Baltimore Democrat, met with the new leadership Saturday afternoon.
