FROSTBURG RECEIVES BID FOR FORMER AU PETIT PARIS RESTAURANT

The city of Frostburg has received a bid for the purchase and rehabilitation of the Nickel Building at 84 East Main Street, the former location of the Au Petit Paris restaurant. The bid came from Larry and Megan Guthrie, who previously rehabilitated a building at 113 Main Street. The couple’s offer includes an investment of no less than $400,000 in the first two years, and would like to have the project completed within three years. Their plan is to house six new businesses, including three small shops, a full-service restaurant and two other businesses. The council will hold a special October 19th meeting to decide.
