Cumberland residents James Elmer Milton and Chella Rae Giles were arrested Monday morning, following an incident on North Lee Street. According to police, Ms. Giles was damaging a vehicle, belonging to Milton. She told police she did it, because Milton had assaulted her. Both were charged. Ms. Giles was released on personal recognizance, while Milton was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
