FROSTBURG AUTHORIZES NICKEL BUILDING PURCHASE

Frostburg city officials have approved the sale of the Nickel Building, the former site of the Au Petit Paris restaurant to Guthrie Real Estate LLC. Frostburg bought the building in 2017, but despite several requests for proposals and grant funding attached, a buyer was not found until recently. Another request for proposals was released this year, but with grant money attached. A plan, submitted by Larry and Meagan Guthrie was chosen. Mayor Robert Flanigan and Commission Adam Ritchie voted to approve the sale, while Kevin Grove and Donny Carter recused themselves from the vote.
