A former loan officer for WEPCO Federal Credit Union has been charged with felony embezzlement. Thirty-seven-year-old Nicole Moore allegedly stole nearly $158,000 from 60 different member accounts, from November 2017 through last month, while working at the Kingwood branch. She allegedly processed cash advances on 81 different loans and completed 198 transactions on member accounts. WEPCO President Becky McKenzie says the investigation is continuing, and the case against Ms. Moore will be scheduled for a preliminary hearing.
