The Garrett County Health Department received additional positive COVID-19 cases, that bring the current county total to 117. Ten additional cases have come to light; all of those affected have been advised to isolate at home or to seek immediate medical attention, based on their signs and symptoms. The current surge in cases has been attributed to contact tracing, and it’s been determined the cases came through interactions with family and friends, along with social gatherings.
