Fifty-seven-year-old Donald Leo Fishel faces traffic and drug charges, after a hit and run incident in the 500-block of Rizer Avenue on Monday evening. A truck had hit a mailbox and a fence and the operator left the area. Police contacted the operator, Fishel, with the officer detecting signs of impairment. A K-9 scan alerted officers to the odor of a controlled dangerous substance. During a search, suspected heroin and CDS paraphernalia were located. He was arrested, received a District Court hearing, and was released, pending trial in District Court.
