HOGAN RENEWS STATE OF EMERGENCY

Governor Larry Hogan issued an order renewing the state of emergency that has been in place since March due to the coronavirus. In a statement on Friday, Governor Hogan says that while Maryland’s positivity and case rates remain lower than most states, he urged residents to avoid traveling to hotspots and to continue following public health guidelines. Governor Hogan was part of a Friday teleconference with fellow governors, Health Secretary Alex Azar, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
