Cumberland resident Patrick Fitzgerald Martin was arrested in a home invasion, in which the victim sustained serious injuries. They told City Police that a man assaulted them with a knife, while trying to steal their property. The victim was taken to the hospital. Martin was later located, and it was learned he was arrested on another active arrest warrant from the Maryland State Police. Evidence of the home invasion was also located, and Martin was charged for that as well.
