STATE TO OPEN LOCAL TESTING FACILITY

Governor Larry Hogan announced plans to open a COVID-19 testing facility at the Allegany County Fairgrounds, due to rising positive cases in the area. The testing facility will be operated in partnership with the health department. Governor Hogan says Marylanders need to be especially vigilant this time of year; many COVID-19 positive results were reported after family gatherings and house parties. He also acknowledged that residents may be experiencing “COVID fatigue,” in dealing with the virus most of this year. Put simply, Governor Hogan said during a press conference, “Just wear the damn masks.”
