Wet road conditions and the fact there was no load on the rig contributed to Wednesday’s tractor-trailer crash in eastbound Interstate 68. The unidentified driver was not injured, as the truck traveled out of control and slammed into the median wall. Eastbound lanes were closed for about 2-1/2 hours; one westbound lane was also closed to allow responders to deal with a ruptured fuel tank.
