MAN ARRESTED ON THREE OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

Cumberland resident Daekwon Devin Silas Wingate was arrested by Cumberland City Police on three outstanding warrants from three separate incidents on the same day. Police say Wingate allegedly broke into a home in the 100-block of Pennsylvania Avenue and demanded drugs from the occupants. Later, Wingate allegedly tried to steal items from a home in the 200-block of Springdale Street. Finally, later in the day, he caused a disturbance in the Emergency Department of UPMC-Western Maryland and allegedly assaulted three employees there. Wingate was arrested, received a District Court hearing, and was later released on a total of $20,000 in unsecured bonds.
