MAN, WOMAN ARRESTED AT CORRIGANVILLE SHEETZ

A call for a suspicious person at the Sheetz store in Corriganville, led to the arrest of Oldtown resident Chandler Tyler Thornton and Jennifer Nicole Moore of Frostburg Wednesday evening. There was an active arrest warrant for Thornton. Allegany County Sheriff’s deputies and the Maryland State Police took Thornton into custody following a brief struggle. Deputies also found a loaded handgun in his waistband, along with a quantity of suspected suboxone. Thornton faces numerous charges, while Ms. Moore was arrested on a charge of a controlled substance, not marijuana.
