There have been three more deaths and 19 additional COVID-19 cases in Garrett County since Monday. The deceased victims were three men in the 70’s and 80’s. The current county total positives are 797 and there have been 8 deaths to date. Garrett’s seven-day positivity rate is nearly twice the state rate of 7.5 per cent, at 14.9 per cent. The 7-day case rate per 100,000 among Garrett County residents is 119.6; the Maryland rate is 37.
