The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation has announced that Katherine Getty will be joining its Board of Directors early next year. She will be taking Barry Ronan’s position on the Board, as he will retire as President of UMPC-Western Maryland, after more than 30 years of leadership and contributions to the Cumberland community. Ms. Getty serves as Director of Business Relationships for First United Bank and Trust. Ms. Getty resides in Cumberland with her husband, the Honorable Jeffrey S. Getty, Judge for the Allegany County Circuit Court, 4th Judicial Circuit.
