BEDFORD MAN CHARGED WITH IDENTITY THEFT

Bedford resident David Dean Howe was charged with identity theft and a theft scheme by Cumberland City Police on Saturday. The complaint stems from an  incident earlier this year, in which he pawned several items from a local shop and received cash for the items. He then used a credit card to pay off the loan and get the items back. The card he was using did not belong to him, and he wasn’t given permission by the owner to use the card. He received a District Court hearing and was later released on an unsecured bond of $1500 pending trial.
