The Allegany County Health Department is reporting 8 additional COVID-19 deaths since last Friday. The case count is now at 5,071 with a total of 143 deaths. Individuals tested at the Fairgrounds drive-thru clinics will have their tests processed by MAKE Medical Laboratory, with results available in two to four days through a web-based portal. There will be no fairgrounds drive-thru testing on Friday, nor will there be an update on Friday, or on New Year’s Day.
