Following a five-month investigation twenty-five-year-old Oakland resident Michael Ray Reckart was charged with several drug-related counts. Reckart was arrested, following a trespassing complaint on Ben Dewitt Road. Narcotics Division deputies then served a warrant on him for multiple drug charges including possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with possession of controlled drug administration equipment and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. He is currently being held without bond, following an appearance in Garrett County District Court.
