The Garrett County Health Department is transitioning to using the state reporting figures, when reporting totals. Currently there is a total of 1,421 COVID-19 cases in the county, with a total of 43 deaths from COVID-19, or its complications. The first doses of the vaccine arrived last week with both the Garrett Regional Medical Center and the Garrett County Health Department receiving their initial shipments of the vaccine. Additional shipments are expected this week.
