A 12-year-old boy, who was involved in a two-car crash in Hampshire County on December 18th, has died of his injuries. He died Sunday at Inova Fairfax hospital in Virginia. The boy was a passenger in a car, driven by Jeremiah Behr of Springfield. Behr lost control of his vehicle, striking a vehicle, occupied by James and Shirley Burkett of Points. They, too were killed in the crash. Investigators say bald tires on Behr’s vehicle may have caused his car to slide out of control. The accident remains under investigation.
