Claysburg resident Kenneth Wells is being charged with rape, strangulation, and assault of a woman he met on a dating app. Wells also faces related counts. According to his criminal history, he was convicted of third-degree murder in 2001, in the death of a woman in Fayette County. He is currently in the Blair County Jail on $200,000 bail; his preliminary hearing is scheduled for next Thursday.
