COUNTY ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL ECONOMIC RELIEF The Allegany County Department of Economic Development has announced two new grant programs that will launch this year. The grant programs will be focused on hotel and lodging providers and restaurants. For hotels and lodging, the amount is $495,591, and additional restaurant relief, in the amount of $389,729. Applications for both programs are expected to go live this month and will be posted at www.alleganygov.org. Business owners are encouraged to look up their business status on Maryland Business Express to ensure they are in good standing with the state.
