Oakland resident William Patrick Murray and 31-year-old Amber Elaine Bittinger were arrested on drug counts, following a hit-and-run incident at a George Street business early Friday morning. A car, which had been involved in the incident, was stopped on East Industrial Boulevard, after police observed erratic driving. A field sobriety test was conducted, and drug paraphernalia was found in the vehicle. Murray was released on citations, pending trial in District Court. Ms. Bittinger was later released on her own recognizance.
