Cumberland resident John Mishow was charged with the theft of a purse that occurred earlier in the month. The victim left a purse in Mishow’s vehicle; he left with the purse and failed to return it. While some of the belongings were recovered, others had been removed. He was charged with theft of between $100 and $1500. Mishow was served with a criminal summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
