WINNING TICKET SOLD IN ALLEGANY COUNTY

The winning ticket for Tuesday night’s Powerball jackpot was sold in Allegany County. The person who holds that ticket wins an estimated $731.1 million, the fifth largest U.S. lottery jackpot ever. It was confirmed that the winning ticket was sold at Coney Market in Lonaconing. Owner Richard Ravenscroft confirmed the sale yesterday morning. Coney Market is now eligible for a $100,000 bonus, for selling the winning ticket. It came a day after nobody won the even-larger Mega Millions prize, which now stands at $970 million. The winning numbers for last night’s Powerball drawing were 40, 53,60, 68, 69 and a Powerball of 22.
