The Allegany County Health Department is reporting five additional deaths and 33 new positive COVID-19 tests since Friday. The current case rate is 35.71 cases per 100,000; the state average is currently 38.2 cases. Allegany County’s positivity rate is on par with the state average, at 7.55 per cent; the statewide average is 7.5 per cent. Due to the anticipated inclement weather today, there will be no drive-thru testing at the Fairgrounds today. Testing is expected to resume Wednesday and Friday of this week, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
