Construction is underway on a new wind farm near the Grant-Mineral County line, and it will include 23 new wind turbines. Clearway operates the Pinnacle Wind Farm in Mineral County, hopes to have the Black Rock project operational by the end of the year. Two hundred union jobs will be created during construction, and the company plans a job fair later this year for permanent positions. The company has contracts with two companies in West Virginia to receive the power generated by the turbines.
