CITY TO RECEIVE BALTIMORE STREET GRANT

Cumberland will receive a $500,000 state grant for the Baltimore Street Access Project. Total funding is now at $8.2 million, just short of the $9.7 million to fully fund the project. The project will reinstall Baltimore Street through the pedestrian mall, after aging underground utility lines are replaced. A new streetscape will be constructed, including parklets, trees, and a variety of flowers and shrubs.
