UPMC-Western Maryland is offering a COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the public today and tomorrow from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. in the hospital auditorium. Reservations for the vaccine were taken yesterday, and no walk-in appointments will be honored. There are 1,000 vaccines available. The Pfizer vaccine is being made available to Allegany County residents age 65 or older, in an effort to continue as many of the most vulnerable community members as possible. Last week, 300 vaccine doses were administered at the first clinic last week.
