Fifty-seven-year-old Cumberland resident Gary Ray Bookheimer is being held without bail, as City Police officers served an arrest and parole retake warrant on Wednesday. Police tried to conduct a traffic stop, but Bookheimer refused to do so. The vehicle was later located, and police found a quantity of a controlled dangerous substance, indicating distribution. He was located, charged, and received a District Court hearing, before being taken to the Allegany County Detention Center.
