Two people were arrested, following a stabbing incident in the 16,000-block of National Highway late yesterday afternoon. An argument, between 32-year-old Amanda Shields of Frostburg and Baltimore and 32-year-old Jesse Kennard of Frostburg and Texas, resulted in Ms. Shields stabbing Kennard. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, then released to law enforcement authorities. Both were taken to the Allegany County Detention Center, to await an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
