There is new life for plans to locate a new FBI headquarters in Maryland. Governor Larry Hogan has written to FBI Director Christopher Wray and said that Maryland was “the ideal location for this critical project.” The Bureau has narrowed its search to three sites in the Washington, D.C. suburbs, including one in Virginia. However, the process was halted during the Trump Administration, before Wray’s confirmation.
