HOGAN ANNOUNCES FUNDING FOR HEALTH DEPARTMENTS

Governor Larry Hogan has announced more than $123 million in state funding to local health departments. The money will be used to support COVID-19 vaccination efforts by addressing budget shortfalls. Maryland providers, to date, have administered over 600,000 vaccines, nearly 74 per cent of all doses received from the federal government. On average, 27.714 shots per day are being administered, a 64 per cent increase over the last two weeks.
