MARYLAND HAS ADMINISTERED NEARLY 80% OF COVID SHOTS

The state has administered 671,899, or nearly 80 per cent of all first doses of COVID-19 vaccinations received from the federal government. Two mass vaccination sites have opened at the Baltimore Convention Center and at Six Flags America in Prince George’s County. Maryland is currently in Phase 1-C of the distribution plan, which includes residents 65 and over, as well as critical workers in high-risk settings. And, the state is expanding the distribution network for COVID-19 vaccines, including hospitals, county health departments and neighborhood pharmacies.
