MAN FACES DRUG, D.O.P. CHARGES

Cumberland resident Alonzo Gene Butler faces charges from two separate incidents. His vehicle was stopped in the area of Mechanic Street on Monday; a K-9 scan alerted officers to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle. A quantity of oxycodone and CDS paraphernalia were found. He also was operating the vehicle without a license. He was also served with A criminal summons for an incident that happened on January 21st. He allegedly caused property damage to a residence in the 100-block of Pennsylvania Avenue. On both sets of charges, Butler was released from custody.
