HOGAN SAYS VACCINE DEMAND EXCEEDS SUPPLY

Even though there are plans for mass COVID-19 vaccination sites across the state, including Western Maryland, there is still not enough supply to meet the demand. Governor Larry Hogan is expected to meet with President Joe Biden today at the White House to discuss the situation. Maryland can administer between 50,000 to 100,000 shots per day as soon as they are allocated by the federal government. The Governor noted yesterday that he would drain the entire rainy day fund in the state, if it meant enough vaccines for every eligible Marylander.
